My g-g-grandfather was born in Wilkes County, Georgia in 1831. His name was John Marion Dean(possibly Deen). His father was supposedly named John also. I do not have anything on his mother or siblings. He came to North Louisiana prior to the 1850's. He named one of his sons Thomas Dennis Dean. Do you think this connects with the John that you have?
