I think Shadrick Deen may be an ancestor of mine. My great-grandmother, Jennie Mae Deen was born in Tippah Co. (in Ripley) 12/26/1891. Her father was William Drayton Deen, who came to the area when just a child from South Carolina after his mother's death. William m. Mary Catherine Wier and they had 7 other children: Egdar, James, Ottis, Myrtle, William, Murry, & Walter. The family later moved to Texas. They kept the spelling Deen. If this seems to fit, let me know. I have more info & pictures.
