The names and places you mention are too much of a concidence for there not to be a connection. You mention Crandall, Texas, my grandfather James Porter Deen lived there and some of his children were born there. You mention an Edgar Deen. My grandfather had a brother named Edgar Deen (Forrest Edgar Deen). Please take a look at my postings on genforum as I have several names listed in several postings, look for my posting name, Lyndel Deen.
