Here is the info I have, which was received from Mary Ann Bowery (Bovery ?) indirectly through another researcher.

Jacob Deem IV was born 1826, and was a pioneer. He was granted 200 acres in Richie co. by the Homestead Act. Married twice; first wife Jane Sams, 2nd wife Elizabeth Stephens.Had two sons by his first wife, who fought in the Civil War: Edward W. and Derastus. THey were in Company D, 14th West Virginia Volunteer Infantry. Derastus was severely wounded in the line of duty. Jacob Deem IV died November 1864.
Ozias Deem:
Was born in Pennsylvania and then later moved to Stephens Fork. He and his twin brother Mose Deem shared a 26 acre farm at Mineral Wells, on Stephens Fork. Ozias married Catherine Grim in 1872, and she had to work to support him because he was too lazy to work. He died of a cerebral hemorrhage on April 13, 1926. His wife died in 1924. In 1881, he purchased a Bible for $5 which is still in the family.
Moses Deem:
Was born at Stephens Fork in 1881, and was raised in Parkersburg. He married Ruby Sheppard in 1906, and they had 13 children. He was a barber, and owned a small shop in Parkersburg. Besides being a barber, he also worked at Wet Penn Electric, and Ames Co. He died in 1941 at the age of 60, and his wife died in 1930.
Walter Deem:
Was born and raised in Parkersburg, on Nov. 11, 1911. He learned the barber trade from his father when he was 11 years old. He is retired from the Ames Co. after 30 years of service, and now lives in Vienna, WVa. (This info was received 8-10 years ago)
Hope this helps.
