A lot of the DEEDS that ended up in Oregon started out in Pennsylvania, then went to Ohio. From Ohio, they moved to Indiana and then on to Illinois. Some went to Missouri while others moved on out west, with a few stopping off in Nebraska on the way.
Try these counties: Moultrie and Piatte Counties in Illinois, Mercer County in Ohio, Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Sullivan County in Missouri.
