Needing to confirm that the Jacob Deeds who purchased property in Morgan County, Illinois (1829-1830) is Johan Jacob Dietz born Dec. 11, 1770. There was a Jacob Dietz who purchased land in Morgan Co., Il (1829-1830), Moultrie Co., IL, who lived in Ohio and Indiana and who eventually moved to MO. If this is the same Jacob Deeds for all moves, he may be the brother to my gr-gr-gr-grandfather, John George Deeds. Any information on Jacob Deeds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
