Daniel Dee, father of John or Jonothan Dee who married Mary Long (from Ballyford, Kerry?). These were the parents of Daniel Dee, born ca. 1823, died on Wolfe Island, Ont. Canada, 2, Sept.1899..Daniel Married 13, January 1851 Elinor (Ellen)Beatty Sharpe, widow of Andrew Sharpe.Elinoe was born ca. 1823 and died on Wolfe Island 6 Dec. 1892. Their daughter Anne Dee married Peter John Brown 21 Jan.1895 Kingston, Ont. The uncles of Daniel Dee, Dennis, Maurice, John and others went to Omaha, Neb. in 1850's and helped found that city. They are in the Pioneers and Founders of Omaha,Neb.
