Hi again.
Unfortunately, all I have on Ellen is that she was born about 1843 in New Brunswick, and married Thomas Doran. I have more detailed info. from the next generation (John Dee jr.) down through Orpah Dee Taylor if that is of any use to you. There was another recent posting on the Dee / Doran family -- can't remember if it was on the Dee family genealogy forum or on the Albert County or New Brunswick ones. Have you tried the New Brunswick provincial archives? They have quite a lot of info. on line now. The counties involved are Kings County and Albert County. Good luck, and please share anything you might find on the ancestry of John Dee Sr.
