Our family tradition has part of our related Dee family living in the Chicago area from the mid 19th century to wwII. Our family tradition has a great-aunt marrying into the Sullivan family around wwI in the Illinois area. Any connection to your family? What intrigues me is the closeness of names for the Dee descendents. Our family line has an almost identical name sequence. (See my ISO on the Dee Forum - 3-01-01) My gr-grandfather was Dennis, b.1851, in Ireland. His grandfather was also Dennis and either may be the "Dennis" you seek.
