American Revolution Patriot Index Centenial Edition, Part 1, Vol. A-F (Nat'l Society of DAR) gave birth as 1762 in New York, and states he was a miniuteman from New York. Wrote his will in 1831.
As quoted from the DAR Application of Annabelle Holford Vert, a descendant of DeWold Von Diedrich settled in Mohawk Valley, received his grant of land from Queen Anne of England. Came to America in 1776 from Holland, settled in New York. He was in the revolutionary War, in battle when they caught Walter Butler, a british renegade. His part of the trophy was Butler's knee buckles
