My wife and I have found history research on the Dedrick/Dederick line to be extremely challenging.
We were puzzled, therefore, when in examining the Social Security Application of Maxwell White Dederick, The name of his father was spelled as Reginald Charles Dedrick.
The best explanation we have received is that Reginald deleted the second "e" for business reasons. Incidently, were recently found information on this family. Rather than typing the information over again please refer to the "Dederick" name under "Dedericks all over the place"
