A Jacob Dedrick, b. abt 1787 NY, has been listed on various sites as a son of David(Dewold/Theobald)Dedrick (Dieterich) and Margaret Dygert.

But, in the records of the Reformed Prot Dutch Church, Herkimer Co NY, parents are listed as Theobald Dieterich & Maria Elisabeth.

Would appreciate hearing from anyone researching Dedricks, who could give me a source for this Jacob being a child in the family of David & Margaret. All we seem to be able to find is his name & dates of birth & christening.
