Thanks for your information. That wedding date for Thomas and Margaret makes a lot more sense than the 1714 one that I have seen.
Our Nellie Deadmon was married to Elijah Martin on 28 April 1839 in Davie Co. NC. She was listed as Ellen Deadmon. I had seen where Ellen and Nellie were common nicknames at the time for Eleanor so I thought maybe she might have been Elizabeth's sister. I know that Nellie had died before the 1850 census because Elijah had remarried by then.
