Thanks for your reply, but it does not appear to be the same individual. I do have more information now:
Ethel L. Johnson was born in December of 1892 in California, the only child of Charels F. Johnson and Kate Virgina Rolston. She married George J. DeCorsey about 1909. George was born in August of 1883 in Calif., but the marriage ended in divorce sometime before 1927. Ethel appeared in the 1927 voters' registrations as Miss Ethel L. DeCoursey. During the 1930 census of California, Ethel is living with her mother in San Francisco. At that time she was working as an assembler at a local electrical company. By 1940 she had moved to San Diego County, California.
