Researching the DeCourcy side of my family and would appreciate any help anyone can give me.
Patrick DeCourcy was born somewhere in Ireland between the 1830s and 1850s. He came to the US prior to 1868 as a young man.
He married a Margaret (Unknown Surname) in Boston, then settled in Harristown, Illinois where at least some if not all of his children were born.
A daughter, Catherine C, was born there 31 Jan 1868. She married Edward Higgins, 25 Oct 1898 in Houston, Texas but they lived their whole lives in Decatur, Illinois where he worked for the railroad.
Another daughter may have been named Mary and she would have married a Lewis Skelley.
There may have been a son named Edward as well.
