now are you a descendant of Sophie Decoste or Sophie Poudrette LAvigne?I didn't reread the forum questions there, just your message to me... As for Suzanne LArocque's parents names are:
Charles-Francois Rochbrune( last name spelled any which way the LArocque-Rocbrune-Larocquebrune-Couillaud can be found...)who married 16 February 1778 in Vaudreuil(Quebec,just west of Montreal)) MArie-Anne Colombe Zacharie(now her name changes all the time, sometimes she is Colombe, sometimes her last name is given as Coulombe etc...very confusing...) .
Charles-Francois LArocque(born?...) would be the son of Jean-Baptiste Rochbrune(born feb. 1720 Pointe-Claire) and Charlotte Seguin,married 27 Jan 1744 in Oka.
Marie Anne Colombe Zacharie was born in 1759 in Ste-Foy ,Quebec(Quebec City)the daughter of Blaise Zacharie born 1733 in Manciet near Auch, France, and of Josephine Coulombe born 1737 Ste-Foy, married 7th of Nov. 1757 at Notre-Dame de Ste-Foy church in Ste-Foy,Quebec. I still want to verify all info as I got most of this information from My uncle, who has gleaned thru a lot of marriage records, but I always like to verify myself!
