Bob,
In January I made a trip to this area, and visited the Shawangunk area, south of New Palz. There are graves of many Deckers at the Shawangunk church, in a beautiful area.I have an article from "Dutch Houses in the Hudson Valley Before 1776," by Helen Wilkinson Reynolds, 1929, describing two homes (still standing) built by descendents of the first Deckers in this area, Cornelius Decker and Elsie Ten Broeck.Cornelius was a son of Jan Broersen.
Also of interest in this area is the 1776 Colonial House in Dwaar Kill, also built by Deckers.
