The death certificate that I have for David Decker would show him to be the son of your Joseph, if we have the right family. David died in 1923 at the age of 78 which would have his birth in 1845 and therefore, his fathers birth approx. 1820??. Does this fit?
The name written for his mother is Loliera but so many of my certificates have names spelled phonetically especially when they are unusual.
David died in St. Louis County, Minnesota in the township of Meadowlands.
I would love to pass this on to someone in his family.
