kasey - I am from Sag Harbor and my maternal grandmother was Odessa De Castro. The name is Portugese. There were two De Castro familys in Sag Harbor, that as close as I can tell are unrelated. I have done some research on the name and have limited data. Most from my mother and also from a history of Sag Harbor that has old school records. Looking forward to comparing notes.
