Margaret Ann (Debow) (Mathews) Gray is my 3rd Great Grandmother also. William Gray and Margaret had 11 children one of which was Laura R. Gray ( my 2nd great grandmother) who married Wiliam H. Coleman on 27 Nov 1871 in Fulton County, Illinois. William and Laura's marriage license is on file at the Fulton County Court House in Lewiston, Fulton County, Illinois. Now back to Willliam and Margaret Gray they move to Glenwood, Mills County, Iowa in 1881. On 4 Oct 1883 William and Margaret were divorced probably in Glenwood, Mills County, Iowa. On 19 Oct 1883 William Married Mary M. Cobb (nee Coleman)this was Mary's third marriage. Upon Mary's death in 1906 William returned to Cuba, Fulton County, Illinois. I was just at the Mills Coounty Court House in Glenwood Iowa this morning and was able to find the marriage of William Gray to Mary M. Coleman in the Mills County Iowa Marriage Record Book #4 on page #110. I was unable to find either a divorce or death certificate on file there for Margaret Gray. I have Margaret's parents as John Debow b. 11 Jun 1805 King, Ulster, New York and Mary A. ? b. abt 1812 New York. Sorry about helping much on Margaret Ann Debow but I have more on the William Gray and William Coleman lines if you are interested.
