Thomas Dednam down under

On a list of Australian convicts in Sydney of 1836 the name of Thomas Dednam appears for theft. He seemed to have been from NS Wales. Later during the 19th cent. the marriage of Mary Dednam was noted. Even later the name seemed to have been changed to Debnam. Does anyone know where the original naughty Thomas Dednam came from? There must be an online list of convicts transported to Aussie from U.K.
