Hi Tracey

I am researching the Dednam family from Frome in Somerset and found records of some of them since the 16th cent. from Suffolk. Did you come across Dednams from Suffolk during your research? I am especially interested in Isaac Dednam who married Mary George in 1799 in Elm. Also his ancestors.

The Dednam surname must have originated from Debenham via Debnam. Isaac came to South Africa with the British Settlers of 1820 and is the ancestor of all the Dednams in this country.
