Hello! It's good to finally see a board available for Debar/Debarr researchers! I got stuck right away. My great grandmother was Rosa Ann Debar, daughter of K.C. Debar and Lavina Jennings. Rosa was born about November 10, 1881 in West Virginia, and married young to Guy Burnside. Date unknown, but she had ten children, one of the younger ones having been born in 1911, my grandmother. Rosa died in NYC around 1974...exact date unknown as yet, and I'm still trying to get a death certificate for her. I have no information on Rosa's father K.C., except that my grandmother thought she remembered hearing that he was of French/Canadian descent. Has anyone ever heard of these people?
