Richard Penn b. 1756 in Anne Arundel Co., MD was in Rowan Co., NC along with bordering land owners Richard Robeson married to Sarah Penn, and James Cheney who was married to Judith Penn, 1790 and before. These Penns are the children of Joseph Penn and Mary Williams Penn. Joseph Penn was the son of Edward Penn and Judith Deavour. Mary Penn d/o Edward Penn was married to Richard Cheney. Shadrack Penn s/o Benj. Penn who was the s/o Edward Penn married Ann Cheney 23 May 1779.
I don't think I have your Matherly or Patterson surnames but maybe I just haven't found them as yet.
I want to thank you for your reply. It is most helpful. We need to appreciate this sort of online information. We are loosing many of our sites that were free.
