my husband is ggrandson of Mattie Jane (Jennie) Deats b. 28 Apr 1878, daughter of John W. Deats, Bullitt Co. Ky b. 1844 d.6 Nov 1883 (wife-Rebecca M. Van Vacter), son Of Richard W. Deats (wife-Lavina Shain) of Deatsville KY. son of John Deats and Anna Shain. Mattie Jane Deats married Rufus Stallings of Bullitt Co. KY and moved to Missouri. Son Golden Stallings married Hazel Leona Stewart of Mississippi Co. MO and moved to Illinois. Son Donald Eugene Stallings married Bertha Ruth Eager of Earlville Il and their son William Lee Stallings of Mendota, Il married Cyndi Derouin of Severna Park, Maryland. how are you related to John Deats?
