Hello, John ~~ I have researched my ancestor, Peter Deatrick's (Jun 14, 1743-May 21, 1832) family for 20 years. Peter, Margaret,(abt 1753-?) and some of their children moved to Harrison Co Indiana, in 1816, where he purchased land in 1819. They are buried on it. Some of his children are buried in the Perseverance Chapel Cemetery, which I have visited. This particular family has been well-documented by others, but I do not find that Peter's son, John, married a Waller. I am wondering if you have the wrong connection here. Peter's son, John,(Feb 5, 1777-Mar 6, 1835) married Elizabeth Peary/Beery (1785-1826)in VA in 1813, and married Judith Snell (1800-1864) abt 1823. Judith did not die until 1864, and she is shown on censuses as a widow living near her children. Is it possible there was a marriage BEFORE Elizabeth? It would be likely that they are related, since families migrated in groups. Be glad to share info. Regards, Lynda
