This is a longshot but I am reduced to grasping at any straw with the name Tollison connected.
My grandfather Homer Marvin Tollison was born 1 June 1904 in Greenville, Mississippi. His parents were Edward Tollison and according to his death certificate Mary McCoullough but according to his application for a social security card in 1937, listed his mother as Mary Burrough.
I believe he was reared and lived along time in Benton, Arkansas before moving to California and then to Cisco Texas where he died in 1976. He was a carpenter and also a pentacostal minister.
He married Evelyn Slay of Louisana about 1923. She died in 1939 when my father was 4 years old. My parents divorced when I was very young and location of my father is unknown.
I can't find any information on Edward but wonder if he could possibly be the son of William Boone Tollison.
Any information you can help me with would be so very helpful!!!!!
