I can't find out much about James Turner Deaton Sr.(born 11-16-1826)(died 3-25-1915) All I have found is he had 9 children by Mary Jane Maness. They were: Leroy Manson, Francis Marion, Daniel Webster, Hiram Brasell, James Turner Jr.(My Great, Grandfather), Martha Jane, Mary Deleiva, Minnie Ann, Nancy Virginia. I haven't come across a Marshall B. Deaton. Maybe there was another wife after Mary Jane Maness. Mary Jane was born in 1832 and died 1873( she was only 41 years old) James T. lived until 1915 (he was 89 years old when he died)
I can not go farther back than James Turner Sr. If you find out anything, let me know, I'll do the same. Georgia
