I am the great,great granddaughter of James Turner Deaton,Sr. and his first wife Mary Jane Maness. They had a son, James Turner Deaton, Jr. He married Emma Lula Miller Dec.17,1891. They had my grandmother Edna Calona Deaton. She married R.C. Sullivan and had my mother Letha Mae Sullivan. She married George Adams and they had me. My name is Georgia Adams McMannes. I am interested in anything you have on the Parents of James Turner Deaton Sr.
I know he was born Nov.15,1826 in Carrol County, Tennessee.
