Hello , I am looking for information concerning my father James E. Deaton. My mother and he were not married at my birth but as i understand it I was his only child. He lived in Hickory N.C. at the time of his death in September of either 1981 or 1982 .He worked for the Railroad as a conductor and was somehow military involved .And the only thing i know about siblings is he had a brother by the name Fred Deaton which i dont know is living or dead. Any help that you can give me will be greatly apreciated.
