I am researching the line of Murdock McKenzie Deaton b March 131 pb NC m 2 Aug Itawamba MS to Sarah Thyne b 1828 pb GA they had 5 children, Samantha Luara, Jake M., Joel , Francis Marion, and Brice. They traveled with the Thompson and Coopers families from NC to AR to OK in the 1890's and went back to AR after 1910. While in OKLA they settled near Durant, in a community called Pleasant Hill.
