Need any info on Andrew Jackson Deaton born 1838 and died 1891. Buried in Union Baptist Church Cemetary in Hall County,Ga. My info says his father was Dorsett Deaton 1806-1879. Is the same as John Dorsett Deaton who was married to Martha Ann Ferguson? I never see Andrew listed as one of their children. Dorsett is buried with his wife Martha in Hall County, Ga. The information I got from Andrew's granddaughter is that Martha Montgomery was her grandmother. Did Dorsett have more than one wife? However, Andrew was born within the time period that Dorsett and Martha Ann Ferguson were married.
