I have Rufus Deaton as son of Lidea Rumple (dau of Phillip and Mary (Fries) Rumple) Marr Willis Deaton. Rufus is burried at Prospect Church in Iredell Co. NC along with many of his family in the Rumple branch. I am a descendant of John Rumple brother to Phillip who settled in Cabarrus Co. NC
