Phillip Deatherage, pick up your mail!

I was at the Santa Clara library yesterday and found a book called: Newspaper Genealogical Abstracts, Volume IV, compiled by Montgomery Vanderpool in Russellville, KY.

On looking at the index at the back of the book I found one Deatherage there. Phillip Deatherage.

Going to the page it said:

A list of letters remaining in the Post Office in Elkton, KY on the first day of Oct. 1823, which if not taken out before the last day of December next, will be sent to the General Post Office as dead letter

Letter "D" James Dodd, Hugh Dikes, Phillip Deatherage, Wm. C. Days, Sally Dyer.

If anyone was looking for a Phillip Deatherage, it would appear that he was in Elkton, KY somewhere around the 1820s. It would also appear that he either died, or left this area by Oct. 1823.
