b. 1805 N.C. d. Dec 1880. bu Gaither cem., Boone co. Ark.
m. Elsie Mann Oct. 26, 1824 Roane co. Tn. She was b. June 20, 1801 N.C.
d. Jan. 26, 1873, bu Gaither Cem. They had 4 Ch.
Martha, Nancy, James and Alexander "Alex".
Alexander Deatherage b. 1841 Roane co Tn, d May 1898, bu Gaither Cem in an unmarked grave.
m. Feb. 20, 1880 Newton co. Ark. Manurva Clayton, d/o Mathew Clayton. She was the widow of
???Parker, She was born Jan 1850. Their children were:
Minnie, Della, Cordie, Bird, Liddie and Lena.
(Manurva Clayton Parker Deatherage 3rd m. Oct. 4, 1917 Madison
co. Ark. John Bowen.)
The 1880 census shows Alexander and his father Bird living in
Boone co Ark., Manurva was listed as head of household.
