John Mathew Clayton b. June 1836 aboard ship ( one of tripplets the
others died) d. 1908 Beggs, Okla. while visiting his son Van. John's 1st
wife is unknown, but there were three children from this union. His 2nd
wife Mary Elizabeth Rogers is 1/2 Cherokee Indian.b. April 1855 d. 1907
They lived in Kinston, Madison Co., Ark. There was one son from this
union, Jacob(Jake) Amzo .
