I, for one, have a GEDCOM to share. I will share what I have with anyone, on line or off line, and have sent my Deatherage line to many that have asked for it.
I am using Family Tree Maker, but with GEDCOM it really doesn't matter, it is generic.
My personal opinion is that if you are asking people to purchase air tickets, motel rooms, etc. that they have a right to know what is going to go on and what they are coming to.
