The oldest Byrd Deatherage I know of is Byrd Deatherage Sr.
The father of Byrd Deatherage Jr, who married Lucinda Pollard.
Byrd Deatherage Sr married Sarah English and was the
son of George Deatherage and Nancy Johnson.
I don't find him mentioned after the 1850 census of
Johnson Co. Ark. Does anyone know where he is buried?
Did he move to Baxter co. ?
