As per the letter I submitted (on behalf of the past-president) to DEATHERAGE LETTERS, VOL. 2, #34, the ANNUAL dues are $20.00. This entitles members to receive the DEATHERAGE GENEALOGY SOCIETY NEWSLETTER. I, personally, know that many WHO WERE NOT PAYING MEMBERS received some of the past newsletters (at a very generous person's expense). That was done in an effort to increase the Society membership. I encourage every DEATHERAGE researcher reading this message to consider supporting the Society. Incidently, anyone who could see the condition of those Roane Co. Cemeteries you posted, would not hesitate to be a part of the Society. An off-season reunion will be held there in 1999, & hopefully, those cemeteries will be in better condition after we, as a group, clean & repair them. Thanks for your concern, as well as, your continued sharing of family info!
