I have an old Holy Bible, Old and New Testaments, Translated Out of the Original Tongues, that was purchased at an estate/garage sale. On a blank page at the front of the Bible is written, "Mrs Chas Bealer wrote 1784 pages. bottom of page". In very old faded handwriting (appears written by two people) in the family record section, are the following birth and death dates. First Page: Births Jonathan Shepard, son of Almond Shepard and Mary his wife, Born July 3rd A.D. 1822. Emily Shepard, daughter of Almond Shepard and Mary his wife, Born November 9th A.D. 1823. Matthew S. Shepard, son of Almond Shepard and Mary his wife, Born December 22nd 1825 A.D. Susan T. Shepard was born August the 16 1827. Juliette Shepard was born the 3 day of December 1830. Lucinda Shepard was born the 22 day of March 1837. Almond Shepard was born the 21 day of August 1838. Second Page: Parents Record Almond Shepard was born December 20th A.D.1791. Mary D. Shepard was born September 19th A.D. 1801. Almond and Mary were married September 18th A.D. 1821. Note: The AD actually looks like AG to me. Third Page: Deaths Johnathan Shepard, son of Almond and Mary D. Shepard, Departed this life June 12th A.D. 1836. Lucinda Shepard, Daughter of Almond and Mary Shepard, Departed this life April 22 A. D. 1842. Almond Shepard, son of Almond and Mary D. Shepard, Departed this life April 22 A. D. 1862. Almond Shepard Died September the 17, 1850. I would like to get this Bible back to the descendants of this family.
