Your list is correct according to the information that I have. In Ric's online it shows #44 George Deatherage and his wife Catherine Waters and then the list there are the children of George and Catherine with your William Waters being the first born. Ric's book only covers the first four generations which is why William Waters Deatherage's name there is not clickable to continue on with a list of William Waters Deatherage's children. Your line is this one I think this one: Lucy May Deatherage born 18 Sept 1849, died 1947, married 8 Dec 1868 to Arthur H Webster. Correct? The information I have shows 8 children under this couple but then other then the kids names and slight information on a couple of them, this part has never really been updated. William Waters Deatherage 23 July 1817, died 27 Jan 1863, married 12 Dec 1848 in Rappahannock Co VA to Martha Elizabeth "Betty" Eastham the daughter of Capt Robert Eastham and Fannie Fisher. Betty born 4 Oct 1828, died 15 Dec 1863 William Waters Deatherage's children were: 1. Lucy May ( I have her shown as Mary Lucy) which I gave her dates above. 2. George Mann 7 Feb 1852, died 1879 in Kansas City KS and never married 3. Robert Byrd 21 Nov 1853, died 11 Nov 1923, buried Broken Bow, NE 4. John William 27 Dec 1855, died 4 Jan 1868 5. Margaret Elizabeth 21 July 1857, married a Miller ( nothing else written here for her) 6. Annie Susan 31 Dec 1859, died 23 March 1895, married 31 Jan 1883 to Charles Newton Buck 7. Francis Catherine 24 Oct 1862, died 18 May 1938, buried Broken Bow, Custer Co NE ( there is a footnote that Fannie Kate parents died when she was 2 yrs of age and that she was rasied by her aunt Mary Hand Eastham Gardner) she married 26 Nov 1885 to Presstman Johnston Richardson 8. and finally Mark Lee, no dayes just stated that he died young. Under each of the above children there is a list of their known children and a few bits of tidbits, not alot. There has not been alot of updates in this section. The above information I pulled from S/G 2000 of which I have a printed out copy of and was given to me by Mr Jim Deatherage of Maryland who has since departed us. You can send me an email if you would like what little there is under the above children. The other thing you may like to try is to make a main new post ( this thread is old that we just popped into and does not appear on front page) and see if you can get attention of descendents of this line that may be able to swap information with. Just title a new main post as something like "William Waters Deatherage" so anyone currently seeking might see your post. Rhonda Deatherage Notify Administrator about this message?
