Dear John,
I would like to see what you might have regarding Rachael Mayab (Mabe) Deatherage and John Deatherage, Jr. (born 1735 in Spotsylvania, VA, died 1801 Stokes Co., NC).
I think their children were: Lee, David Mayab (He took Mayab as last name, not Deatherage even though John Deatherage was his natural father), Nancy, William, Molly, Ruth.
My Great-great-grandmother was Elizabeth Mahala Deatherage, born 1829 who married Gabriel Henderson Mabe.
She was the daughter of Tabitha Deatherage. I think Molly was the mother of Tabitha and Rachael Deatherage was Molly's mother???
Do you have a Rachael Cummins listed anyway? I don't know exactly where she fits in? But I found her in my notes.
I would also like to have the line from John Deatherage, Jr. born 1737 died 1801, and his first wife ?? back to William. I think John Deatherage, Jr. served in Revolutionary War and his father, John, Sr. gave supplies to the war. Is this correct?
