I have sent a letter regarding my lineage to the
Deatherage Letters. I, too, am a direct descendant
of William Weakley Deatherage.

My father and his sister, Frances Jarrett Stewart were
born and raised in Waverly. My aunt still resides there
and is very active in the spring and summer months in
the Waverly Gen. Soc. I have been the lucky recipient
of her hard work (some of which was aided by Myra Martin
whom you wrote) during the winter months while she is
in Texas. I am compiling them on computer for the family.
I live in Godfrey, IL, "outside" of Alton,IL and 1 hour south
of Waverly.
