I have seen where John was reimbursed for supplying goods to the army. And I had thought that someone had used this receipt to gain entrance to the DAR. It must be that they have done so after the first 100 volumes were printed, and maybe they are in the later ones.
And I just got out George Deatherage's book "Our Horseshoe Heritage" and looked it up and it seems that Vivian Deatherage Wheeler is a member through John Deatherage. Her certificate number is #533285.
According to information in George's book both William and George also were paid in vouchers. And a Philip is mentioned.
Does anyone know how many volumes there are and if there are any other Deatherages in there.
