William Allen Deas b. 9/22/1764 d. 1863 and Col. James Sutherland Deas b. 5/234/1784 d. 11/9/1864 were brothers.

Parents were John Deas b. 7/12/1735 Scotland d. 1/29/1790 SC and Elizabeth Allen b. 12/7/1742 Goose Creek SC d. 1802.

This is not part of the family of the 5 sons of Emanuel Dees, but a different branch.

I show John Deas parents as David Deas & Catherine Dundas and David's parents as Henry Deas adn Rebecca Key all from Scotland.
