Did you get any info on your inquire? My ancestors came from Clayton County Ga and several families moved to AL around 1860-70.
The family name was DEES, then DEAS, then Dease. Some members of the family used DEESE. I am in contact with several Deese families in AL. Give me a little more info and I try to help tie some ends together.
