I am looking for a marginal note "unmarried pregnant female" in a DeArmond household in the 1850 Census for Roane, Blount, Morgan, Anderson, Sevier or Greene County in East Tennessee. My great grandfather,James Wiley DeArmond, was the illegitimate son of a John DeArmond and a female unknown to me. I am trying to locate which of the zillion John DeArmonds was his father, so that I can try to trace his mother. Long shot, huh?
