Jane Darmon did sign the affidavit for Elizabeth (nee Clinton) Dailey's pension (wid of James Dailey) app in Smyth Co., VA, where she was deposed. Do you happen to know why she may have been in Smyth Co, VA in 1879, apparently still unmarried without her parents?
I did transcribe the pension app, posted it to USGenWeb, but they either changed their format, or the link's broken. I may have it on a disk, but it's not on my hard drive. Finding someone/anyone related to Mary "Polly" Daley b c1795 SC is my priority.
