I am having trouble finding information on DeArmond's in SC, specifically my family is from the Edgefield area. Others on here say it is an Irish name, however, my family has been brought up to believe it is from French origin. Does anyone have any information on this?
My line is as follows:
Amanda Eugena Jones DeArmond mother of
Charles DeArmond who married Nellie Morgan DeArmond parents of
Amanda Ester DeArmond Hightower b. 1914
