I found John DeArmond, son of James and Susan Shadden at:roanetn.com/dearmond.htm
It lists WileyDeArmond (1810-1878)as the son of James and Susan. John was married to Caledonia Bowers, who was the daughter of a Methodist minister. Her full name was Veronica Adelonica Caledonia Nitrocraos Flozaedar Mandozia Corinthus. Said to be the longest full name recorded in Roane County. It lists their children as Annie Laurie, Susan H., John, Lewis, Fred, James, Richard, Lula and Margaret. I am a Shadden and am trying to find out who Susan's parents were. I think Susan and my ggggrandfather Martin may have been related and his parents are a big mystery to us! If anyone has any info, please share! Perhaps Susan's Wiley is the father to your Wiley.
